I love trousers a lot –Ngozi Ogbonna, On-air personality

As an on-air personality cum movie artiste at present plying her trade with Radio Continental, Ngozi Ogbonna says it has been a lot of challenges. “An artiste is that person that is so creative and can do a lot of things from his/ her head. The challenge is that, as a creative person, you are motivated and you always want to do something new but the needed support is not always there,” she said. Ngozi, a graduate of University of Ibadan and holder of a Masters Degree from University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), revealed her favourite to Sunday Sun. Excerpts:
What’s your favourite food?
Oh my God! Do I have a favourite food? Is tea food? (laughs)
Favourite drink?
Oh! Coke. I don’t know if I am selling the brand for them saying that but I love Coke.
Favourite colour?
My favourite colour is pink.
Favourite music?
Do I have a favourite music? I always appreciate music by the lyrics. When I listen to any music and I see that the lyrics make a lot of sense, I just fall in love.
Favourite world leader?
I have a mentor. My favourite world leader has always been Nelson Mandela. I like his might and dexterity, especially towards the people.
Favourite fashion accesssory?
Oh my God! It’s just everything. I am a fashion freak. I love jewelry. I love it a lot, especially nice wristwatches.
Favourite holiday spot?
Well, I travel a lot but the best I have ever experienced is a place in Tanzania where I once went to. My God! I can’t forget that place. Why Tanzania? The reason is that I have been on the island before, a place called Cuba and that is a very wonderful place, but why the Tanzania thing really caught my interest is because it’s African and the setting was just so different and natural.
Favourite outfit?
Well, I love trousers a lot (laughs). I like wearing trousers, even though I am a church girl. Those days, when it was not so permitted in the church, I used to manage to put on skirts.
Favourite book?
Yeah, right now, I read less because of my busy schedule, but back then, I loved James Hadley Chase series.
Favourite quote?
I have a lot of quotes. Let me say this, you know I am a relationship coach too and I always tell people “You don’t give what you don’t have. You must have something to be able to give it.”
Favourite car?
I love cars, beautiful cars, but I love Toyota a lot. At a point, I had two different brands of Toyota. You can imagine that!
